We don’t collect your personal details. This marketplace is a directory that shows you Fairtrade products and where to find them.
You don’t need an account to use the site, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details. We don’t sell anything, and we don’t sell or share information about you.
This marketplace is published by Fairtrade Africa, and Fairtrade Africa’s Data Protection Policy also applies.
What we record
We keep a simple count each time someone taps through to a store. It notes the country, product and store, and whether a phone or computer was used. It does not include your name, IP address or anything that could identify you.
The site also saves the country you choose in a cookie, so it remembers you next time. On your first visit, we also use the country your connection appears to be in to send you to the right shop. We don’t store it.
Analytics
We use analytics to see how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can improve the site. They are on by default and don’t collect your name or contact details. You can turn them off at any time.

Other websites
Store links, videos and sharing tools take you to or load content from other websites, such as retailers, Vimeo and WhatsApp. Their own privacy policies apply once you are there.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Because we don’t collect personal details, there is usually nothing to find. The rights Fairtrade Africa upholds are described in its Data Protection Policy .
